We commonly get asked to add a Sold % to our custom reporting module. But when you stop and think about how to actually calculate the percentage, we quickly find a lot of problems. The simplest way to calculate a Sold % is the number of leads sold…Continue

One of the great products available to our customers in MotoSnap is the Desking Tool. Our Desking Tool seamlessly integrates with our CRM/ILM. In comparing the ease of use and flexibility of our Desking Tool, it is easy to see how it makes the tools found in your standard DMS - like a glorified calculator.
Want to edit your customer information, appraise a trade, or desk multiple vehicles and scenarios - all from one screen? Yeah, we can do that. Does your current DMS or CRM?…

It’s that time of year again when we begin preparing next year’s product offering and getting what always seems to be an out-of-date publication - current. We constantly refine and update our software and service offerings and, as a result, there is always printed word out there that is bound to be, well let’s just say, the “classic” version of the here and now.
You’ve heard us say it before – VinSolutions is always adding new features, enhancing current ones and sometimes even…

Any other Canadian dealers unable to desk deals for customers that want a bi-weekly payment? VinSolution doesn't offer bi-weekly payments and we quote this to our customers 80% of the time.

Today, another manager asked me, "What's Tommy up to today?" I looked up and said, "I'm working on my tasks." He replied with a sigh, "Yeah, they never go away, do they?"
I started to agree with him and then thought about it and told him, "They're not supposed to."
All CRM systems have what they call "To-Dos" or "Tasks" or "Reminders". They sound like such a chore. It's like my wife's to-do list or reminding me that I promised to clean the garage this weekend. I hear many…

Things I enjoy when not at VIN: Even at home I enjoy researching SEO (search engine optimization) and trying to keep up every day with the constant changes in search engines.
When at all possible, I try to get to the mountains...love hiking and skiing.
The best part of my job at VIN: Getting to research SEO, and track how it can affect a website’s traffic and conversions.
I love where I live!
I currently live in Gladstone, but I look forward to moving closer to work. Maybe a downtown loft or somewhere near the Plaza or Brookside.
Random Trivia About Me
My previous career was as a 3D Character Animator for video games.
